Minnesota Viking Andrew Sendejo Delivers for Bite Squad

Watch Andrew Sendejo Deliver for Bite Squad

Andrew Sendejo, strong safety for the Minnesota Vikings and long-time customer of Bite Squad, suited up as a Bite Squad driver on Monday, November 6, 2017 to surprise hungry customers.

Sendejo is a big fan of Bite Squad, having ordered more than 600 times—a number Sendejo himself was a bit disappointed with, saying he is trying to make it into the “comma club” by getting into the thousands.

The night started out at The Freehouse, where Sendejo picked up his very first order. At this stop, he learned to find fast parking, verify the delivery order for accuracy and get on his merry way to the waiting customer. Sendejo noted that this customer had good taste because she ordered the breakfast bowl, which is his go-to order from The Freehouse.

Even though it was dark and an unfamiliar neighborhood, Sendejo found the customer’s house with ease. When you place an order, Bite Squad will keep you notified of the driver’s location each step of the way, and you’ll receive a text letting you know they’re close, so this customer was prepared, left the lights on and was waiting near the door for her food.

Vikings player Andrew Sendejo delivers for Bite SquadSendejo’s next delivery was to a Bite Squad customer at Sociable Cider Werks, a brewery in Northeast Minneapolis. The brewery was busy, and Sendejo was a bit nervous about finding the customer in such a big crowd. Luckily the customer, Christina, was waiting near the door to greet him.

“We always order restaurant delivery from Bite Squad when we’re out at a brewery since there are limited food options. It was such a fun surprise to meet Andrew; we’re huge fans!” said Christina.

Andrew’s final delivery was to a VIP Bite Squad customer, Donovan. Donovan was shocked to see Sendejo (and the camera following him), but was stoked to receive his food as well as some Vikings swag.
